With all the modern tractors around nowadays, it’s not often we get to hook a set of discs up to a mint older machine like this Case IH 956 XL!
This tidy German-built 2WD Case dates back to the late 80’s and was using all of its 95hp to make a beautiful discing job out of oat stubble with the 4AG DV 930’s.
The drystock farmer near Levin had a larger tractor but wanted to see if the ‘old girl’ could pull his new discs, what an awesome match of tractor and machine!
Normally used for feeding out duties, the classic Case blew out any cobwebs and was up to the task! Who says you need a modern Fendt or John Deere to make a good discing job….!😊😊
